Question:
When installing the PDFTron PDFNet virtual printer, both using the SDK API, and the standalone installer, I am unable to install.
This only happens on our server, and not locally. Locally it works fine.
This is the error I see when using the standalone installer.
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
Answer:
The issue is most likely that the Windows Printer Spooling service is not running. Make sure this service is on.
