stampText method automatically adds an unwanted padding

WebViewer Version: 10.1.0

Hello, when I call “stampText” method after I set “vertical” orientation with alignment: “bottom left” and text alignment to “right”, it automatically adds an unwanted padding. Does anyone know why is this happening and how can I fix this? Thank you!

Hi @valentin.mihai,

Thanks for reaching out to WebViewer Support! Can you clarify where exactly the padding is and what your expected result is? Right now, my understanding is the padding is because of the text-alignment being set to right. But I may be referencing the wrong padding.

Hi @asinclair ,

I attached a video,

When:

  • alignment of entire text is set to left
  • rotation is set to -90
  • each line alignment is set to right (1)

then a left padding is automatically added and I can not figure it out why. Thank you!

Hi @valentin.mihai,

My mistake - I understand the padding you’re referencing. Let me investigate a bit further to see if this behaviour is intentional or if it’s a bug.

This issue has been resolved, though it missed our 10.2 release today, and so the fix will be available in 10.3 release scheduled for beginning of August.
