Bug: Checkboxes Convert to Radio Buttons After Document Switch

Subject: Bug: Checkboxes Convert to Radio Buttons After Document Switch

Issue Description:
We have identified a bug in the Apryse viewer (reproducible on showcase.apryse.com) that occurs when handling forms. The issue is not related to the file itself but to how the editor behaves when switching documents.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open https://showcase.apryse.com/multi-tab-support.
  2. Add one or more checkboxes using the “Forms” button.
  3. Switch to a different document.
  4. Return to the initial document where the checkboxes were added.
  5. Click on one of the tool buttons in the “Forms” section.
  6. Switch to another document again.
  7. Return to the initial document: the checkboxes have now been converted into radio buttons.

Affected Versions:

  • Apryse WebViewer 11.2
  • Apryse WebViewer 11.3

A video demonstration of the issue is attached.
