Deprecated DOMNodeInserted mutation event?

Please describe your issue and provide steps to reproduce it:
Good day, we were wondering about this “DOMNodeInserted mutation event” warning that appears on console whenever the end user clicks on the Note from the comments panel:

We don’t ask our end users to restrict the browser version they are using for our application so we are concerned that one day, Chrome may finally push an update that may break the comments panel. Would like to know if there are works in progress that will address this hopefully soon or this is of no concern at least in the next 12 months?

Thank you!

Please provide a link to a minimal sample where the issue is reproducible:

Hello @joserafael.arce ,

Thank you for contacting WebViewer Support,

After speaking with the development team, they confirmed that we are aware of the deprecation and it is on our radar to be addressed.

At this stage we do not have a timeline as to when we will be working on this, but we will be sure to provide an update when it has been.

Let me know if you need any further clarification.

Good day, Jacob.

Thank you very much for the update.

Hello @joserafael.arce,

Our development team wanted to give you an update on the warning.

They informed me the warning is caused by a third party dependency (Quill), but based on testing the deprecated event should not impact WebViewer functionality.

Quill recently released a new major version which removes use of this deprecated event and we’re evaluating the impacts of upgrading. We don’t have a firm timeline at this time.

Hope this helps!
