Please describe your issue and provide steps to reproduce it:

I am using webviewer to view and edit pdf and docx. With docx – When I set enableOfficeEditing = true I can edit the documend but I lose the ability to make any annotations in the document. The annotation option is there but it will not acknowledge any annotations. set enableOfficeEditing = false and I can make annotations

How do I make a docx editable and have the ability to make annotations?

Hello tpiazza55,

This is an expected behaviour, DOCX files do not support annotations. When loading a DOCX file into WebViewer without Office Editing, its converted to PDF by default.
