Drawings with "lines" in it

Product: Apryse SDK (PDFNetC.dll)

Product Version: 11.3.8.5075

Please give a brief summary of your issue:
Drawings have “lines” in it so they look broken

Please describe your issue and provide steps to reproduce it:
We are using PDFViewCtrl in our applications (C++) (yes we know it is deprecated and we should consider using another way to display our pdfs, but transition is not that easy at the moment so we are going to stick with PDFViewCtrl for a while).

The Problem is, that in our PDFs we have drawings. These drawings look good in other PDF-Viewers (for example Adobe Acrobat and PDF-XChange):

When opening it in the PDFViewCtrl it looks like this:

You can test it also in the Webviewer (https://showcase.apryse.com), the same problem occurs there.

Here’s an example PDF:

It seems that you are experiencing issues with rendering lines in drawings using PDFViewCtrl, which might appear broken compared to other viewers. This could be due to rendering differences or settings in PDFViewCtrl and WebViewer that affect how vector graphics are displayed.

Some things you can try:

  • Ensure that you have the latest version of the Apryse SDK, as updates often contain bug fixes and rendering improvements.

  • Check the rendering settings in PDFViewCtrl to see if any adjustments can improve the display of vector graphics. Look for options related to anti-aliasing and rendering quality.

  • Consider using different rendering modes in PDFViewCtrl or WebViewer, such as enabling or disabling hardware acceleration, if available.

  • Verify that the PDF document itself does not contain issues with the vector graphics or layers that might affect rendering.

Here are some resources that might help you:

Hopefully, this helps you solve your problem while you wait for a human to get back to you.
