Feature request: PowerPoint animation support

Looking for upvotes from the community, if it agrees! The Apryse WebViewer supports rendering PowerPoint presentations. Animations are a fundamental component to PowerPoint files. This is a straightforward request for the WebViewer to support animations. For simplicity sake, all PowerPoint animation types can be distilled to show and hide, which would be a fair compromise if that helps make it easier on Apryse to support.

While you wait for one of our customer support representatives, I can help you with your question.

It seems you’re interested in a feature request for adding PowerPoint animation support to Apryse WebViewer. Unfortunately, I can only assist with technical queries related to the current capabilities of Apryse’s PDF software APIs.

Some things you can try:

  • Check Apryse’s documentation and community forums for any updates or discussions on PowerPoint animation support.

  • Reach out to Apryse support directly to submit your feature request and gather community support through their official channels.

  • Keep an eye on WebViewer updates for any new features or improvements regarding PowerPoint support.

Here are some resources that might help you:

Hopefully, this helps you solve your problem while you wait for a human to get back to you.

Hi Ian,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you would like to request a new feature, the easiest way to do it is to complete the form here:

Give as many details as possible, this would help the product team to evaluate the requirements.

If you want to answer those 3 questions as well, this could change the priority of the feature request:

  • What is the workflow in which you would use the requested feature?
  • Why is the feature valuable to you and your users?
  • How are you coping without it right now?

Best Regards,
Mickaël.

Thanks! Submitted. Also interested in other users upvoting using the heart at the bottom of the comments if they agree this needs to be a feature.
