It seems like you’re having trouble switching between Korean and English input modes in the Word Editor on a Windows environment using WebViewer Version 11.4. This issue may relate to the handling of input methods and language settings in your Windows environment, which might differ from macOS.

Some things you can try:

  • Ensure that the correct language packs are installed and enabled in your Windows system settings.

  • Check if your browser’s language settings are configured correctly to support Korean input.

  • Verify that the input method editor (IME) for Korean is active when trying to switch languages in the editor.

  • Test switching languages in other web applications to determine if the issue is specific to WebViewer or a broader system setting.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Even when I use Korean in Text-related Annotation, does it happen because of the above problem even though the input is not done normally?

When I typed Korean in normal time, which is not on purpose, the top is entered in a Windows environment, and the bottom is the result entered in a Mac environment.

Hi there,

The annotations and the office-editor are separate issues.

I am able to enter Korean text in Mac environment on the latest version of WebViewer (version 11.6) on the showcase demo.
But I see that after pressing the enter key, for a new line, the characters are no longer connected. I was able to reproduce this in the Mac environment.

It looks like this issue is a potential regression (introduced in version 11.4) and I will add this issue to the product team to investigate.

best regards,
Kevin

Thank you for your cooperation.

Based on your advice, I downloaded the version 11.6.1-20250819 and tried it, but the same symptoms appear as below. And there is nothing about the issue in the challenge log.

In addition, Korean is entered as attached in the Mac environment, and Korean-English conversion is not possible in the Windows environment.
