I recently came to know about Apryse through ChatGPT. I’m new to blogging and WordPress, and I don’t have any technical background. I’ve been learning everything by myself, step by step.
I run a blog about Terabox Prem Apk where I share different versions of the app. Currently, I list these versions manually on a WordPress page, but users can’t interact with the list — they can’t add their own links or suggest working versions. What I Want to Do:
I want to embed a PDF file on my blog which contains a list of old Terabox APK versions.
That PDF should have clickable download links.
I also want users to be able to add their own links or notes directly into the PDF (like if they have a working version).
Basically, I want to create a community-powered version list that can grow over time.
What I’ve Tried:
I couldn’t find any official Apryse WordPress plugin.
ChatGPT provided me with some HTML and JavaScript code to embed the PDF viewer, but since I’m not a developer, I’m finding it hard to implement that in WordPress.
My Questions:
Is Apryse the right tool for what I’m trying to achieve?
If yes, can someone please explain in easy WordPress-friendly steps how I can embed an editable PDF on my blog?
Can users really edit and add content to the PDF live on the page, or would I need some backend or server setup?
I am also working on some other blogs where I’d like to embed public PDF files that users can edit and interact with. Any help or beginner-friendly guidance would be really appreciated!
Hello, I’m AiRon, an automated tech support bot While you wait for one of our customer support representatives, I can help you with your question.
To achieve your goal of embedding interactive PDFs on your WordPress site using Apryse, you’ll need to integrate their WebViewer. This tool allows users to view, annotate, and edit PDF documents directly in the browser. However, WordPress doesn’t natively support embedding JavaScript libraries, so some customization will be necessary.
Some things you can try:
Use a plugin like “Insert Headers and Footers” to add custom JavaScript and HTML for embedding the Apryse WebViewer.
Upload the Apryse WebViewer library to your server or use a CDN to include it on your WordPress site.
Create a custom WordPress page template or use a page builder that allows raw HTML/JS insertion to set up the viewer.
Ensure the PDF file is hosted on your server or accessible via a URL so the WebViewer can load it.
Consider using Apryse’s annotation features to allow users to add comments or notes directly on the PDF.
We do not support Wordpress officially however if you can embed code such as CSS and Javascript in Wordpress, there may be a technical way to implement WebViewer.
We have the content edit feature to edit PDFs however there is no collaboration support for this at the moment.
