When we I point it to local file, I get the error saying that url is incorrect. I have tried to put this in a shared folder as well and get the same issues.

Hello rpswadhwa,

Could you please tell us how you were trying to load HTML file? Have you tried reproducing it on both https://showcase.apryse.com/ and JavaScript PDF Viewer Demo?
If its reproducible on both of those, could you please provide us with the file so we can test it ourselves?

All the best,
Bojan

Hi Bojan,
I believe I had seen a demo where I could select an html file from my laptop and view it. I am not able to locate it.
In one of the conversations with Andrey, he had mentioned that it would be possible.

Let me know if there is anyway that is possible. This is critical functionality for our product.
Thanks
Rajan

As per our documentation you can only open HTML files by using our WebViewer Server: Apryse Documentation | Documentation
And here is the demo: https://docs.apryse.com/samples/web/samples/viewing/viewing-with-webviewer-server/
Please try it there and let us know how it went.
