Q: We are reviewing your PDF Library for integrating in our solution. As part of decision making process we need to know do you support PDF/VT standards for producing PDF with variable data printing option?
A: You can use PDFNet to generate and process any type of PDF subset (e.g. PDF/VT, PDF/A, PDF/X, PDF/UA, etc.). To make a document that meets requirements of a specific subset you need to make sure that you create/use only features that are referenced in a given standard. For example, in case of PDF/VT you would need to create DPart and add specific VT metadata. What are your specific requirements when it comes to PDF/VT (e.g. 1, 2, 2s)?
In case we see more interest for VT it is possible that we may add an add-on - along the lines of PDFNet PDF/A Add-on.
