Switch Side-By-Side/Comparison split bar from vertical to horizontal

Please describe your issue and provide steps to reproduce it:
Is there a way to switch from a vertical to a horizontal split bar for side-by-side view? Not all documents are in portrait format. We have a lot of documents in landscape format or even mixed documents. It would be good to have an option to switch between vertical and horizontal split, like the Adobe Split View feature.

Please provide a link to a minimal sample where the issue is reproducible:

Hello Sebastian,

Unfortunately, we don’t have a way to change the comparison split bar from vertical to horizontal.
This will be added to our future tasks plan but we don’t have a timeline for it yet.
We appreciate your feedback and suggestions.
