While you wait for one of our customer support representatives, I can help you with your question.

It seems like you’re experiencing an issue with the stamp text validation in WebViewer, where adding more than 61 words causes a UI problem. This could be related to how the text is being handled within the stamp annotation’s UI component.

Some things you can try:

  • Check if there are any CSS styles or JavaScript functions that limit the display or handling of text within the stamp annotation.

  • Consider implementing a text validation function to limit the input length before it reaches the UI component.

  • Test the behavior in different browsers to see if the issue is consistent across all platforms.

  • Review the handling of text in the annotation component to ensure it can accommodate larger text inputs.

  • Consider updating or customizing the UI component to better handle longer text inputs.

Hello @rishumishra2001,

Thank you for posting on our forum.

Currently this is expected behavior; we do not currently have an API to set a character limit on the input in our modal for creating a custom stamp. If you would like, we can raise this as a feature request raise a Feature and add it to our backlog for our Product team to review.

If you could provide some further information around the context of why you want the feature, this may help prioritize its development. We would be interested to know:

  • What is the workflow that you would use the requested feature in?
  • Why is the feature valuable to you and your users?
  • How are you coping without it right now?
